Not sure what’s so new about the idea of a simple wagon, but the manufacturer of this chassis seems to have been quite proud – enough to paint it on the front axle, too. I like to think that they adopted this approach to labeling their products out of childlike excitement, as if every single wagon that came off the line was considered a “new idea,” got its own idea number, and was celebrated as a marvelous discovery.
